Okay, if you don’t love this session there is something wrong with you… probably not but let’s go with that. I have been working towards focusing on the art in my photography all while still capturing moments as they happen. Megan and Elex did a great job of being in the moment during their session and they were not afraid to go with whatever was inspiring me. Thanks Meg and Elex, can’t wait for your wedding day and good luck in North Carolina.
Beautiful evening spent with Levi and RaeAnn. I think every couple that I photograph starts their session telling me they are very awkward and unphotogenic in most photos. It never fails, by the end of the session the couple is posing together with little direction and looking completely natural. I love how these photos turned out, so many smiles and feelings captured of the lovely couple. Enjoy the sweet wedding planning journey.
“A little love in the home” is what I am captioning this sweet lifestyle session of Toby and Lacey. Like any couple their home also has loads of laundry, endless grocery lists and pointless arguments but through it all they have love. I of course see these things as the little sister. I see the way these two act together. The looks they have when the other is looking away. The smiles when someone congratulates them on this next step. The excitement both my parents have in welcoming Toby into the family and the support from so many loved ones building them up and giving advice.
Every story I capture has a different start than the next. Every time I think of the story of “Toby and Lacey” it sets my mind at ease, that maybe “A little love” is waiting for all of us.
Lots of you have been asking if I will be photographing the wedding. I will be attending their wedding on September 8th 2018 as Maid of Honor and I am so excited to see what Christina & Jeremiah capture on that day!!
Can you tell we took these photos on the windiest day ever?? Jake and Ally were real troopers with the cold weather and crazy wind. Thanks for inviting me to the farm to capture some great moments.
Happy Halloween everyone! These two joined me last week for their engagement session! Funny story is Sam was supposed to hire me to photograph the proposal but instead he decided to go with a more casual route. I don’t think Hannah cared a bit. Congratulations you two, can’t wait to celebrate!
When two people can flow together so easily and make each other laugh none stop, my job becomes everything I love. I can focus on what makes your photos great and I’m so happy I could do that with Haley and Brandon. I’m so excited for your small town big love wedding in May!
As I promised, more from Kayla and Kobie’s session! We shot at the Big Stone Wildlife refuge. Somehow I live 20 minutes from this beautiful place and I have never visited before. I’m so glad this session gave me that opportunity. Oh by the way I casually had a camera mishap (fell from my neck to the ground) while standing on the beautiful rocks, so that has been fun.
It’s love and fall and all those things! I am excited for their wedding on my birthday next year!! MacKenzie and Kenny you are great!!
I know you have all been waiting to see more from Dustin and Stacey’s session last Sunday and here they are. Apart from a rainy wedding day yesterday we have been blessed with good fall session weather. Let’s keep it up!
Love on a fall evening.
I am so excited for Kyle & Kelsi’s wedding day in April. Their engagement session was so fun at Lake Carlos State Park in Alexandria. The fall colors were beautiful, and the weather was perfect. Thanks you two!
